The more things change, the more they stay the same, ay?

Reykjavík. Of the buildings still standing the most regognizable are the  governor’s house on the left (amtmannshúsið; stjórnarráðið), the  cathedral in the middle (dómkirkjan) and the college on the right (MR).  Also seen up in the hill is the Reykjavík mill, which used to be a  landmark of Reykjavík, but no longer exists. The Pond (Tjörnin) reaches  farther inland than it does now.
